The festivities have just begun and a lot of you might want to get your new car delivered in the most auspicious Navratri period in October. And if it’s a Maruti Suzuki car on your radar, we tell you whether you’ll get your hands on your new car, if you book one now, this Navratri or not.
Here’s the waiting period on popular models from the country’s largest automaker across major Indian cities.

Maruti Swift: Apart from Bengaluru and Lucknow, where the waiting period for the Swift extends to up to eight weeks and 14 weeks, respectively, Maruti Suzuki should be able to deliver the new Swift on time in most other regions.
Maruti Dzire: The waiting period on the Dzire is similar to the Swift and if you book one this week, we expect the carmaker to deliver the sub-4 metre sedan by Navratri. Buyers in cities where the waiting period is more than four weeks might have to wait a little longer.
Maruti Vitara Brezza: Maruti’s sub-compact SUV, the Vitara Brezza, attracts the maximum waiting period among its siblings throughout the country. The SUV has is a waiting period of over 10 weeks on an average. If you book one now, it would only be delivered around Diwali or later.
Maruti Celerio/CelerioX: Both the Celerio and the CelerioX attract a near identical waiting period of around three weeks. So, if you book one now, there’s a fair chance that the Celerio/CelerioX would be delivered during Navratri.
Maruti Baleno: Maruti has recently increased the production of the Baleno to reduce its waiting period, which is currently around four weeks right now. Except the waiting period to go down in the coming weeks and it should be easily delivered around Navratri.
Maruti S-Cross: Looking at the current waiting period for the S-Cross, Maruti should be able to deliver the S-Cross within a month. So, if you’re planning to buy an S-Cross, book it right away for a Navratri delivery.
Maruti Ciaz: Like other Nexa products, the recently launched Ciaz facelift too is attracting a waiting period of around four weeks on an average. If you book one right now, a Navratri delivery is possible in the Ciaz’ case as well.
Maruti Ignis: The petrol-only Ignis can be had around the time of Navratri since Maruti should be able to deliver it within a month from now.
Other cars from Maruti Suzuki’s lineup that are not mentioned here can be delivered within 10-15 days from the date of booking. It is important to note that the waiting period for the cars in the table is an approximation as it would depend on the variant, powertrain option and colour you’ve chosen. Moreover, all Nexa cars are readily available in Gurugram.
