Volkawagen has enough reasons to celebrate as its iconic flagship sedan Jetta GLI has completed 30 years of its enigmatic journey and as a subsequent treat to its fan base; the company has decided to introduce a special edition of this phenomenal sedan in the form of 'GLI Edition 30' that reflects its gratitude towards all its customers.

Volkswagen Jetta GLI Edition 30

Volkswagen Jetta GLI's inception took place in 1984 when the company rolled out the first unit of this car in the U.S market and till date it stands as one of the most remarkable vehicles to come out of the company's arsenal. Volkswagen would sell the special edition in two trim levels by early 2014 and the two trim levels would be the Edition 30 and the Edition 30 with Navigation. If a comparsion is drawn between the current 2014 Jetta GLI and the GLI Edition 30, then it can be propounded quite comfortably that the latter one gets distinguished by the inclusion of 18-inch “Laguna” aluminum-alloy wheels, red trim on the front grille, a trunklid-mounted spoiler, and Edition 30 badging. Furthermore, The Edition 30 with Navigation also features red interior trim with Bi-Xenon headlamps.

Several other premium features find their way in The Edition 30 such as front foglights, LED taillights, leather-wrapped sport steering wheel, brake handle, and shift knob, Premium VIII touchscreen radio with SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, and Bluetooth® connectivity. The Edition 30 with Navigation, being more plush and advanced, comes with Keyless access with push-button start, the RNS® 315 touchscreen navigation system, a rearview camera, LED daytime running lights, and Bi-Xenon headlights with the Adaptive Front-lighting System. Both these special editions are offered with four contrasting colors: Deep Black Metallic, Pure White, Tornado Red, and Reflex Silver Metallic. The company has still not announced announced the pricing but it would surely be a bit expensive than the regular trims.
