Toyota commences production in Japan
On Monday, Toyota Motors Corporation resumes car production in all its plants in Japan. The production commenced in all the plants of Japan after more than a month. The production was halted due to earthquake followed by tsunami which shattered the country. The manufacturing plants will run almost half the production because of the shortage of various car parts.
Toyota confirms that the company is struggling to protect around 150 kinds of auto parts. The tsunami and earthquake have totally destroyed the component factories in Japan, leading to the severe shortage of the auto parts.

The natural calamity that hit Japan forced the company to stop the production but three of its plants in Japan were still working. Toyota Corolla, Toyota Lexus and Toyota Prius are three cars which were manufactured in limited production in other units.

Miyagi which was one of the worst affected areas due to the natural disasters in Japan has one of the Toyota unit. 900 workers paid tribute to the Miyagi plant victims by keeping silent for a minute. Due to the nattural disaster, around 8, 400 people were died in Miyagi.

President of Toyota plant in Miyagi told that, the continuation of car production in Miyagi will help in renovating the city. He also told that the company will deliver excellent quality of cars to their customers in a very less amount of time. The production process will help in reconstruction of Miyagi soon.

Miyagi is the new auto factory for the Toyota Company which started in January and has experienced minor damages due to the earthquake. Toyota is going to keep the production rate to 50% till April 27.
