Swift, Kizashi to get an all-wheel-drive variant
Suzuki, the Japanese car manufacturer as a quick response to the European markets, is soon to launch an all-wheel drive variant in its famous small hatchback Suzuki Swift (Maruti Swift in India) and the sensational saloon Suzuki Kizashi (Maruti Kizashi).
Coming to the basic looks of the new all-wheel drive variants, the prominent difference will lie in the 4x4 badge and rest will be same as the front wheel drive versions of Suzuki Swift (Maruti Swift) and Suzuki Kizashi (Maruti Kizashi). A powerful Visko clutch system is used to connect the rear and front axle which will take over the work of central differential.

All-Wheel-Drive variant of Suzuki Swift (Maruti Swift) is loaded with a powerful 1.2-litre engine built to churn out maximum power of 94 horsepower. The engine is claimed to give a great fuel efficiency through the employed high end technology. Swift 4x4 version will be made available in the 'club' variant which will encircle additional comfort features like air conditioning system along with entertainment feature like CD player. The driver's seat in the car will be made adjustable to mould according to the occupant's convenience. The car is loaded with many advanced features which not not only assure a safe drive but comfort at large scale which is taken care of through small detailing like electrically controlled windows and smartly placed cup holders. The price range decided fo this all new Maruti Swift 4x4 (Maruti Swift) is 14,490 euros ($18,694).

Coming to the All-Wheel-Drive variant of Maruti Kizashi, the model is available for a price tag of 29,900 euros or $38,708 which includes all luxury detailing loaded in the car model. These exciting variants will be made available in the overseas auto market and are expected to enter the Indian Auto market soon.
