Nissan launches 5 new dealerships in India
Nissan India, a Japan based leading car maker which is all set to launch its new compact hatchback Nissan Micra in India on Wednesday, has inaugurated its five new dealerships in the country. The cities where these new dealerships have been opened include Ludhiana, Gurgaon, Calicut, Jalandhar and Surat. The company now has 15 dealerships in total which are spread across 13 states of the country.
The latest expansion of dealership network by the company can be seen as a part of Nissan's plans to increase its footprints in the Indian market in the long run. Mr Kiminobu Tokuyama, MD CEO, Nissan India, said on the occasion that the company has been aggressively ramping up its dealership network across the country. He added that, the opening up of these five new dealerships is in line with its constant endeavor to increase company's footprint and to provide total customer satisfaction with high-quality service standards.
Excited about the overwhelming response that its latest compact car Nissan Micra is receiving in India, the company is planning to take the number of its dealerships to 20 by the end of this month. The new dealerships will be set up in cities like Bhubaneswar, Navi Mumbai, Jaipur, Bhopal and Trivandrum. The company further aims to increase the number of its dealers to 30 by the end of this quarter.

Highest car sales in india in the past 3 yrs is in andhra pradesh then why Nissan doesnt have dealers in andhra? where should we go for purchase and service? are dealerships open or any substitutes?
