New Skoda Fabia facelifted to launch on 12th October
Skoda Auto India is all geared up for launching the new facelifted variant of Fabia, the hatchback model of the company, in the Indian market. The new model is expected to be introduced on October 12th, said the auto industry sources. Earlier, this model was displayed at the Geneva Motors Show. Apart from the cosmetic changes, this time the big changes will be seen under the hood.

The new variant of Fabia will be incorporating a brand new diesel engine that presently powers Volkswagen Polo. The new variant will be having the engine choices of a new 1.6-litre petrol which also powers the Volkswagen Vento as well as a 1.2-litre 75bhp petrol and similar displacement 75bhp diesel engine.
Earlier, the Fabia flaunted of a 1.4 PD TDI engine which produced around 68 bhp. The new Fabia will also incorporate a refurbished and re-designed attractive look which will include cosmetic changes like new headlamps in the front, re-designed front grille, bumper etc.
