New Mahindra Thar Colour Options Detailed: Three New Shades!

• Red Rage, Aquamarine and Rocky Beige colour options have been carried forward from the older model.

• The Thar gets three new shades: Mystic Copper, Galaxy Grey, and Napoli Black.

• It will be launched on October 2, 2020.

• Mahindra is expected to price the Thar from Rs 9.5 lakh to Rs 13.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

After multiple spy shots, the second-gen Mahindra Thar SUV was revealed to the public on August 15. It will get petrol and automatic transmission option for the first time. Now we have with us the details of the colour palette. If you are planning on buying the second-gen Thar, here are the six colour options that will be on offer:

• Red Rage

• Mystic Copper (new)

• Galaxy Grey (new)

• Napoli Black (new)

• Rocky Beige

• Aquamarine

While the Thar will continue to be available in a total of six shades, Mahindra has added three new colours to the new off-roader SUV as seen above. Unlike the old model, the new Thar will no longer be offered in white and silver paint options.

The Thar will be offered in three variants: AX, AX Optional and LX. Mahindra will offer the new Thar with both petrol and diesel engines for the first time. It also gets different top options depending on the variant chosen:

We expect Mahindra to price the new Thar between Rs 9.5 lakh and Rs 13.5 lakh (ex-showroom) when it’s launched on October 2. It will rival the Force Gurkha, Maruti Jimny and similarly-priced compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
