New 2012 BMW 1 Series to be unveiled at Frankfurt Motor show

The German auto giant BMW which has already set a benchmark in the luxury car segment is all geared up to pull the wraps off its small car BMW 1 Series. The unveiling will be done at the Frankfurt Motor show, BMW will be revealing BMW 1-Series. The Frankfurt Motor Show will be organized in the month of September 2011.

The front portion of BMW 1-Series is likely to have a resemblance with BMW X1 and the rear is like Volkswagen Polo. Some other features of this new series by BMW include a wider wheelbase along with roomier cabin. The 2012 BMW 1-Series will very soon make a grand entry in India too, and it is expected that the entry would be accompanied with a 2 litre diesel engine powered by X1 320d and 520d.
