M&M showcased Bolero, Scorpio, Xylo at Auto Expo South

Mahindra and Mahindra today showcased the three leading utility vehicles at the Auto expo held in the city of Hyderabad. The vehicles at display were Mahindra Scorpio, Mahindra Xylo and Mahindra Bolero. Mahindra is the market leader since inception in utility vehicles and currently bags about half of India's market share in Utility Vehicles.

Mahindra Scorpio was the first SUV built by the company that targeted to the global markets and has been successfully accepted across the world. Since its launch the car has won three prestigious awards in the automotive category namely the Car of the Year award, the Best SUV of the Year and the and the Best Car of the Year award.

Bolero, again an SUV sports a 498cc diesel engine, with dimensions of 4260(L) X 1815(W) X 1810(H) mm and weights 1615kg. The vehicle has been extremely popular in India and comes in the price range of Rs 4,74,710 - Rs 5,98,350. Mahindra Xylo has been one of the recent launches from the company and caters to the price segment of Rs 6,47,118 - Rs 8,16,262. Presently Xylo comes with the CRDe technology and is clubbed in the C+ segment of cars.

As other auto makers, Mahindra too wants to tap the potential market down south, for which Hyderabad is he key attraction centre. In order to attract more and more customers, the government of Andhra Pradesh has organised many interesting events and activities.
