Design
The MG Windsor EV Pro looks largely similar to the existing variants. It gets three new colour options: Celadon Blue, Aurora Silver and Glaze Red.
It has the same fascia with an LED light strip, an illuminated MG logo and LED headlights positioned on the bumper.
The side profile gets the same flush-type door handles and body-coloured ORVMs. The only visible upgrade is the new 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels which are the same as those in other MG models like Hector.
The rear has no significant change either. It gets the same connected LED taillight and the big ‘WINDSOR’ lettering just below that. The tailgate gets a new ADAS badge in the bottom right corner, hence confirming the new feature addition, which we talk about in the next section.
Interior
Stepping inside, you’ll be greeted with a new lighter theme this time with Ivory leatherette seat upholstery, giving the cabin an airy feeling. Except for the new colour, the cabin design and dashboard layout remain the same. On the dashboard, you have the big floating 15.6-inch display and the two-spoke steering wheel.
Its cabin continues to boast lounge-like comfort for rear seat comfort with its 135-degree reclining rear seats. It is also equipped with 256-colour ambient lighting and for the natural sunlight in the day, you get that big fixed glass roof as well.
Features Safety
The MG Windsor EV Pro gets updated features over its existing model such as vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology, vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) tech and ADAS for safety. Apart from that, it continues with its tech-rich cabin that involves the 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment display, 8.8-inch digital driver’s display, wireless Android Auto / Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charger, connected car tech and 9-speaker Infinity sound system. It also gets additional comfort and convenience features such as ventilated front seats with power adjustment for the driver.
Besides level-2 advanced driver assistance suite (ADAS) features, safety is handled by six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill start and descent control, electronic parking brake with auto hold, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera.
Powertrain
The most significant update in the MG Windsor EV Pro is in its powertrain. It now gets a bigger 52.9 kWh battery pack.
