The S-Class will be available with two engine options to begin with. One is the S500, which will be the 4.7-litre bi-turbo V8 petrol that will produce 449bhp and 700Nm of torque and the second engine on sale will be the S350 CDI that will produce 258bhp of power. The S-Class has always been a true example of innovation and technology and the new generation carries the legacy forward.

The new generation will be a lot more expensive than the current car and will be priced at about Rs 1.4-1.8 crores (ex-showroom, Mumbai) depending on the variant. The S-Class is definitely a product that will make competition raise the bar and it will be a difficult task to raise a new benchmark.
