Maruti Ciaz ZXI+ Automatic Now Available, Price Inside
Maruti has finally offered the 4-speed automatic transmission in Ciaz’s ZXI+ variant.

After a long wait, Maruti has finally offered a 4-speed automatic transmission in Ciaz’s ZXI+ variant. Automatic transmission was earlier available only with VXI+ and ZXI variant, but now, customers can have leather wrapped steering wheel, Touchscreen SmartPlay System and the automatic transmission, all together. We had earlier revealed the price of this variant, the VXI+ AT variant is priced at Rs. 10.19 lac (ex-showroom Delhi).
The RS variant still has not been equipped with the automatic variant, but this is not a big lapse as the RS variant only has cosmetic advantages over the ZXI+ variant. Other than Ciaz, Verna, City, Vento; Rapid also offer automatic transmission.
ZXi+ variant of Ciaz has certain added features over the ZXI trim. These additions are both cosmetic and equipment wise and include Maruti’s Smartplay infotainment system, a leather wrapped steering wheel, navigation system, voice command feature, projector headlamps, Intelligent Key (Push Start/Stop), leather seat upholstery, keyless entry and chrome door handles.
The RS variant has added cosmetic upgrades in the form of rear under spoiler, front under spoiler, side under spoiler, trunk lid spoiler with high mount stop lamp, premium black interiors and gray chrome finish on I/P garnish.
The automatic variants of the Ciaz uses Maruti’s favorite 1.4-litre, 91.1bhp petrol engine which produces 130Nm of torque. This engine boasts a fuel economy of 19.12 km/l (ARAI-certified).
Safety wise, the car has ABS, Driver Airbag, Co-Driver Airbag, Seat Belt Pre Tensioner & Force Limiters, Seat Belt Reminder Buzzer (Driver Seat), Front Fog Lamp, Rear Defogger, Auto Day/Night IRVM, Reverse Parking Sensor, Reverse Parking Camera, Security Alarm and Engine Immobilizer.
