Mahindra XUV 500 will travel to Russia, China

Mahindra and Mahindra had launched its brand new SUV Mahindra XUV 500 in India on 29th of September followed by the South African launch on the 30th. To increase its global presence, M&M envisages exporting the SUV in the other markets like China and Russia as well. Apparently, few other overseas markets on the list are South America, Australia and SAARC countries. Mahindra has lined-up major plans for the SUV that includes exporting the car to atleast 10 major overseas markets apart from the probable 30 identified as the potential markets for future growth. Mahindra XUV 500 price in India is Rs 10.80 lakh-Rs 12.88 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Mahindra & Mahindra had launched few online contests and questionnaires like ‘Guess the Price’ and ‘Guess the Date’ before the launch to create the hype. The winners of the contests were eligible to drive home the brand new XUV 500. The other attractive prizes like the Free F1 race tickets were also doled out.
