Jaguar Land Rover to Bring Many Fuel Efficient Sports Cars: Ratan Tata
Tata group chairman, Rata Tata has announced that the British Subsidary of Tata Motors, Jaguar Land Rover is planning to deliver various fuel-efficient sports cars within the next couple of years. although he hasn't shared much details about the product range and number of models, which are to come to India, but as JLR had earlier said, they would launch 40 new products in the coming 4-5 years.

speaking about it, Mr. Tata said, "The company has undertaken its most ambitious product development programme in its history and will be launching several new sports sedans and sports cars in the next two years in order to provide dealers with a more competitive and wider product range," He further added that, "rugged, lifestyle vehicles under the Land Rover brand are also scheduled to be launched," while on the JLR's growth he commented, "Jaguar Land Rover's operations have shown impressive growth in sales and profitability.
Sales have increased by 37 per cent and 29 per cent respectively in value and volume over the previous year." He also shared company's plan of opening a facility in China to fill the rising demand for both the luxury brands Jaguar and Land Rover in the chinese market. They have already shared JLR's plans of investing over Rs 200 crore with their JV, Cherry Automobile in China for starting the local production of their vehicles in the region.
