Jaguar F-Type, Vehicle Team Testing Footage

We have already disclosed to you that Jaguar F-TYPE will make its public debut in just one week’s time on 27th September during the Paris Auto Show. For a refresher, it will be a front-engined, rear-wheel drive convertible. The three models of the F-TYPE that will be made available will be powered by the 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol engine, capable of delivering 335.3bhp and by 5.0-litre V8 supercharged unit which delivers a power output of 374.7bhp.

Commenting on the vehicle, Mike Cross, Chief Engineer, Vehicle Integrity, Jaguar said that this is a car which one will drive for the sake of driving, nothing more, nothing less. He also said, “Fundamentally, a great sports car is one you’ll look forward to driving because it’sfun, and the F-TYPE definitely delivers on that score. We’veworked hard to make sure that responses to steering, throttle and brakes are absolutely immediate, a task made far easier by the rigid aluminium structure at the car’s base.”
