Hyundai India Registers The Highest Ever Sales for Oct; Creta Keeping Up the Momentum
Hyundai Motor India Ltd recorded highest domestic sales last month ever since their inception in the country. The Korean automaker retails 47,015 units last month in the domestic market and exported 14,777 units, that equates to a cumulative sales of 61,792 units.
Hyundai also claims highest ever monthly sales of Grand i10 - 14,079 units
Commenting on the October sales, Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP- Sales and Marketing, HMIL said,"Hyundai sales of 47,015 units are all-time highest with an all-time high sales of Grand i10 with 14,079 units continued strong performance of Modern Premium Brands CRETA Elite i20/Active with 18,244 units with maximised production to meet the strong demands of the Customers so as to minimise the waiting period as we expect the growth momentum to continue in the coming months with improving customer sentiments."
Although, the Grand i10 recorded the highest ever monthly sales since its launch, Elite i20 and Creta also continued to be the strongest products in the portfolio in terms of sales. Hyundai Creta was launched in July and Hyundai manages to retail over 7K units of the compact SUV monthly. Speaking of the Elite i20/Active, the company manages to roll out over 10K units of the hatch monthly. Moreover, recently the automaker has increased the prices of the Creta and the i20 clan.
