Honda has introduced three Modulo versions of the India-bound Civic —  the 1.8 E CVT Modulo, the RS Turbo Modulo, and the RS Turbo Modulo Sport variants —  in the Philippines. The tenth-generation Civic was launched in the Philippines in April this year and is expected to enter India in 2017. As in the case of the City and the Jazz, Modulo kits for the new Civic are expected to be offered in India (optional) after its launch.

The Modulo versions of the Civic include elements such as a front under spoiler, side skirts, rear under spoiler, exhaust muffler, and a Modulo emblem. Inside, each of the three Modulo variants is equipped with a side step garnish as well. Additionally, the 1.8 E CVT Modulo variant gets a deck lid spoiler, while the RS Turbo Modulo Sport variant features 17-inch matte black Modulo alloy wheels.

Mechanically, the Modulo versions remain unaltered. The 1.8 E CVT is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.8-litre motor, which puts out 141PS at 6,500rpm and 170Nm at 4,300rpm of max torque. The RS Turbo versions are powered by a new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol, capable of producing 173PS at 5,500rpm and 215Nm of max torque between 1,700—5,500rpm. Both engines are mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), but the RS Turbo variants are equipped with paddle shifters as well.

The prices of the Modulo variants starts at Php 1,143,000 (approximately Rs 16.25 lakh), while the top-end RS Turbo Modulo Sport is priced at Php 1,510, 000 (approximately Rs 21.46 lakh).
