Recently spied images of the production-spec Honda Brio RS surfaced online and now by the looks of it, the Japanese automaker is all geared-up to launch the hatchback in the Indonesian markets. Autonetmagz has reported that the Indonesian subsidiary of the company, the PT Honda Prospect Motors has registered the name Brio RS, which confirms the car will be launched in the country soon. The RS-spec Brio will remain mechanically unaltered, which is to say that it will come with the same 1.2-liter, 88PS of power and 109Nm of peak torque i-VTEC mill that is featured in the current generation of Brio.

Aesthetically, Brio RS features updated front fascia, which is reminiscent to the styling cues seen on the Mobilio MPV. At the front, Brio RS incorporates a new headlamp cluster, which incorporates LED DRLs, projector headlamps, redesigned front bumper with a honeycomb airdam and a new piano black grille with chrome accents, which is reminiscent to that seen on the Honda Jazz premium hatchback. On the sides, one can easily spot the larger diamond-cut alloys and sideskirts and at the rear, Brio RS flaunts a chrome exhaust muffler, rear spoiler, redesigned-sportier rear bumper and RS badging. Updates to the interior of the car will include an all-black color-scheme and a touchscreen infotainment system. It is also expected that similar interior updates will be introduced in Indian Brio and will eventually make their way to the Amaze compact sedan.
