Latest Update: Maruti has showcased the Swift hybrid at the Auto Expo 2020.

Maruti Suzuki Swift Hybrid Expected Launch: Even though Maruti doesn’t plan to launch the Swift hybrid in India, its technology is expected to be a part of upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars. 

Maruti Suzuki Expected Engine: The Swift hybrid packs an electric motor coupled to a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a battery pack. While the 1.2-litre petrol engine in the Swift hybrid makes 91PS and 118Nm, the electric motor puts out 13.5PS and 30Nm. Suzuki offers a 5-speed AMT transmission with this version of the Swift, which also comes with paddle shifters.

Maruti Suzuki Expected Features: It gets additional features over the standard Swift including ventilated front seats, cruise control, and paddle shifters.
