    Honda Brio Diesel is Being Tested in India?

    The Japanese auto giant, Honda SIEL is known to maintain secrets about its new products. The trails have been found related to the all new diesel engine Honda Brio spotted having testing rounds in India near Gurgaon. The emission of the car was in black smoke with a noise similar to a diesel engine, which signifies that the car had a diesel engine. The car had no badge so that no hint could be made as to what is under the hood of the car. The Honda India is known for providing only petrol version car in the market and this is the reason as to why the company is now shifting towards the diesel version cars.

    The sales of the petrol version cars are declining day by day because of the increase in the price of petrol in India, and in such scenario the company must look towards the possible way out. This can also be a co incident that the diesel car of Honda has been spotted at the time of the price rise of petrol in India which is on its peak. This is the reason as to why the consumers are searching for more fuel efficient and diesel engine cars. Recently, Honda emphasized that there is no launch of its diesel variant cars before 2013, which means that all the new diesel cars will be launched in the year 2013.

    This move of Honda motors is really important for the brand to survive in the Indian auto car industry, which has been shifted towards the diesel engine cars. This shift has increased the competition in the car market and the diesel cars, which are prominent may rise up with new variants coming up. This can be a surprise from Honda as it has started testing its new generation diesel engines on the Brio. Recently the brand launched its 1.6 Liter i-DTEC turbo diesel engine meant for the Honda Civic sedan. The other range of the Honda’s diesel engine may have the “EarthDreams” philosophy of the company.
