Hindustan Motors yesterday launched the BS4 version of the 2011 Ambassador Grand Sedan. The medieval sedan has been revamped, changes have been made on the interior as well as exterior front. The retouched version the austerely designed Ambassador Grand Sedan adorns modern features like power windows, rear AC vents, a mobile charging point, better leather upholstery etc. The engine of the car remains the same, 1,817cc petrol Isuzu engine capable of producing a power of 71Bhp@4800 rpm and a torque of 137 Nm@2250 rpm.

The fully kitted out top end model of the new Ambassador is priced at INR 6.5 Lakhs on-road, New Delhi. The company is offering one year warranty on first fifty thousand kilometers as well as on the spare parts. The suave sedan is available in various colors such as Jet Black ,Lunar Silver ,Fire Brick Red ,Oyster Blue ,Ecru Beige and Crystal White, offering a wide range of choice to the customers.

Few days back we got the news that the Delhi police has phased out the conventional Ambassadors which has been a symbol of the government officials and have switched to its contemporary counterpart Maruti SX4. It seems that the Hindustan Motors has come up with the retouched version of its conventional model in wake of changing the image of the medieval sedan. In the time when every auto giant is coming up with a new model and offering latest technology along with good looks at a feasible price, it seems it will be quite difficult for Hindustan Motors to attract customers.

Hindustan Motors does not have money to manufacture cars. So what are they talking about new product which was already there and existed. Hindustan Motors dealers give shabby look of Sales & Service and like Hindustan Motors, they also do not want to invest further. When you go at dealership they are clearly telling that give us advance money in full to get vehicle manufactured as company is asking us to send money in advance to run factory. So basically, this company is virtually closed and wasting its time.
