Ford to enter used car business

Observing high prospects in used-car business, the US-based auto giant Ford today made a big leap by announcing five 'Ford Assured' showrooms all across the country.Initially the used car business units of Ford Assured are going to be placed at Ford showrooms located in Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Pune and Kochi.With this new foray, Ford Assured would buy, recondition and sell Ford and other car brands, as per the company statement.

The five Ford dealers, initially going to handle the used-car business would be – Delhi - Harpreet Ford, Chandigarh - Bhagat Ford, Jaipur - KS Ford Kochi - Kairali Ford and in Pune - Planet Ford. The above following showrooms will now offer wide range of options of Ford and other brands of cars to the customers.

As per Ford Company officials, multi-brand car program “Ford Assured” will not only help Ford in creating a close bonding with customers but will also assist in marking their strong presence in used car industry.

The complete reconditioning program includes a high quality 169 point quality check, 1-year warranty on all multi-brand cars sold and well-suited options of buying from and selling to Ford Assured.While assuring excellent quality and high standards of each car sold, Ford Assured program is most likely to prioritize the customer’s safety and satisfaction at all stages.

Furthermore, Ford Company is going to collaborate with various banks for selling used cars. This collaboration will provide customers with an easy finance options for buying used cars. Also, with Ford India expanding the sales and services all over India, currently the company has 170+ sales and services centers in India.
