Ford launching electric car in 2011

It is expected that Ford Motors may-might launch its new electric car in India all in association with Magna International and that too by the end of the year 2011. The first launching of car is expected to be in America while there after it will be displayed in India. According to technology officer and executive vice-president of the company the new platform been launched by Ford is going to provide help to all the electric vehicles with many opportunities in countries of Europe and Asia. This new model is expected to be a zero-emission lithium ion battery electric vehicle in the category of sedan cars (been launched in association from Ford-Magna. It would be capacitive in travelling a distance of 150km with a single time charging. This is a new step coming forward that Indian car users are coming forward to take interest in alternative fuel veicle options. Eletric cars from reva are one such options which are presently been produced from the Bagalore. Reva is the first electric car of the nation and at present is been exported to other countries like UK and is getting a positive responce there also by getting popular.

It will be best for early lunching of Ford Electric as soon as possible as fuel price in india is very high and the people perhaps waiting this.
