Ford EcoSport bookings open - Official
Ford EcoSport is undoubtedly one of the most awaited vehicles in the Indian car market, and now the company has officially opened the bookings for its highly anticipated SUV. While the exact launch date of the vehicle is still to be disclosed, the American automaker has revealed that its dealerships across the nations have started taking bookings for the EcoSport. The launch is likely to happen in the last week of June.
Ford EcoSport's official facebook page states that the dealers have started taking bookings, and the media reports tell that one can book EcoSport by paying Rs. 50,000. This indicates that the launch of the SUV isn't very far. The vehicle will be made available in four trim levels, namely Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium Optional.
The EcoSport will be made available in 3 engine options - 1.0-litre EcoBoost, 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. Internationally awarded EcoBoost engine is capable of producing 122bhp and 170Nm of top torque. The engine is coupled to a five speed manual transmission and has a ARAI fuel efficiency figure of 18.9kmpl. So, if you are looking to buy EcoSport, visit your nearest dealership and book it, as there is possibility that the waiting period for the SUV will go longer.
