BMW X1 sDrive20i with the Latest Generation Petrol Engine
BMW Asia announced the launch of the new BMW X1 sDrive20i which is driven by the TwinPower Turbo technology and now has increased performance, greater fuel efficiency and emits lesser CO2 emissions. The latest BMW X1 sDrive20i now comes equipped with the latest Efficient Dynamics features. Along with this, BMW also introduced the new 4-cylinder petrol engine which is the 2.0-litre engine with twin scroll turbocharging along with high precision injection direct injection, Double Vanos variable camshaft timing and Valvetronic variable valve timing.
Fitted on the BMW X1 sDrive20i is the 4 cylinder engine that develops a power of 184bhp. The car now sprints from 0-100kmph in about 7.7seconds and at a top speed of 215kmph. It also features an ECO PRO mode which makes it extra fuel efficient and gives it low rpm driving style. It also programs electrically powered convenience functions like the air conditioning which helps the AC to work on optimum efficiency. Auto Start Stop also comes as a standard which helps the car deliver efficiency along with the new system that automatically shuts off the engine when the vehicle is stopped during traffic or at intersections etc.
X1 will also be available with the BMW Lines; the BMW xLine and BMW Sport Line which makes the BMW X1 targeted at individualization through well balanced and matched design and equipment features.
