Auto component industry ready to grow high

As the car market in India is going through a robust growth phase, the auto component industry is all set to touch new heights. At present, the Indian auto components industry accounts for 0.9 per cent of the global auto components market and it is expected to reach-up to 2.5 per cent by 2015. The Industry will be able to provide about 25 million jobs by 2016, as per Ministry of Heavy Industries & public enterprises.

As the car market in India is going through a robust growth phase, the auto component industry is all set to touch new heights. At present, the Indian auto components industry accounts for 0.9 per cent of the global auto components market and it is expected to reach-up to 2.5 per cent by 2015. The Industry will be able to provide about 25 million jobs by 2016, as per Ministry of Heavy Industries & public enterprises.
