Audi S6 Launch on July 12, 2013- Official
German luxury carmaker Audi that launched the RS5 today in India, is planning a series of new launches and facelifts in the country. Audi S6, performance version of the company's flagship saloon A6 will be the earliest to hit Indian shores. Deriving its power from a 4.0-litre V8 TFSI petrol engine mated to a 7-speed S Tronic DSG transmission, the S6 will be able to churn out the maximum power output of 420bhp and 550Nm. The car accelerates 0-100kmph in mere 4.8 seconds. The engine's efficiency has further improved by 'Cylinder on Demand' technology that automatically shuts off 4 cylinders out of total 8 in low load conditions. The power is transmitted to all four-wheel drives via a Quattro all-wheel drive system.
The features that the S6 will come up with include a dual mass fly wheel, flaps in exhaust pipes and electronically controlled engine bearings. Audi Drive Select driving dynamic system will be offered as standard. We are also expecting a 19 or 2o inches alloys.
