Audi Q3 S- an affordable version of Q3 being launched (Live)

Just few more hours and we'll have the much anticipated Audi Q3 S, which is basically a price cut version of the famous Q3 crossover. The reason why the Audi Q3 S is a special product is its affordability, now in the price of a luxury hatchback, you can get a luxury compact crossover, that too a diesel one! It will carry the similar 2.0-litre TDI motor, which power the regular Q3, but this time it has been tuned for better fuel efficiency.

Update 1: The Audi Q3 S edition is a low cost version of the Q3, which is to sit below the existing line-up. The Q3 S is a front-wheel drive version, and misses out on some features, so to reduce its price.

Update 2: The features that the Q3 S misses out on are Quattro four-wheel drive and Automatic transmission, in spite it has front wheel drive and six-speed manual gearbox transmission.

Update 3: Audi India has also come up with first of its kind online booking scheme. The first 10 people who would book the Audi Q3 will get the Audi's off-road style package for free.

Update 4: Audi Q3 S will continue to derive its power from the same 2.0-litre diesel engine, but it has been tuned for better fuel efficiency.

Update 5: Perschke says that Audi India is 1000 units ahead of rest of their competitors.

Update 11: Audi Delhi Central is the company's 27th dealership; The company aims to open 34 dealerships by 2013 end.

Update 12: The launch event has been just wrapped up, and we are informed that Audi has already received 21 bookings after the bookmyaudi.in went live about 22 minutes ago, which means 1 Audi Q3 S/minute. SUPER!!!
