Audi India registers 208 percent growth in October

Audi India witnessed record growth of 208 per cent in October, 2010. The German Car makers, did it again with the ever increasing sales of its remarkable cars in the Indian auto market. Lets look at the sales graph of the Audi India.

October 2010, was a very auspicious month for the car manufacturers, all the segments in the Indian Auto market flourished. Audi India, manufacturer of premium class cars which comes with technological advancement, safety features, luxury and style registered the highest ever sale in the domestic market. The luxury brand had a sale of 357 units in October, which records a growth of 208 per cent when compared to last years sale of 16 units. The first three quarters of 2010 also witnessed a growth of 75 per cent with the sale of 2,535 units which was 1,449 units in January- October 2009. The sales of 2009 has already been crossed in August, 2010.

Micheal Perschke, head of Audi India, said that, the company is happy with the performance and growth the brand is enjoying. The response from the market has stamped that the company will achieve expectational growth. The company ensures strategic advancement and expansion of the network, to spread more in the market. The company is enjoying the success in India with its No 1. position in the luxury SUV segment and has also captured the European and Chinese auto market. Mr Perschke also added that, the company is hopeful of a successful fourth quarter which will embark a remarkable year.

Audi India, wishes to take the benefit of the ever increasing market for the luxury brand and to work on that, the company has decided on various policies and expansion. Mr. Perschke, added with great optimism that, Audi India has aggressive plans to move in the Indian auto market. The recently inaugurated showroom in Jaipur, Audi India has varied plans to grow in the other parts of the country as well. Audi India also wished to open two more dealerships in the fall 2010. He further revealed more expansion plans, Audi is planning to bring in the flagship model Audi A8L, which will surely be the top contender in the Indian Market. He confidently said that, Audi A8L, will come and win over the market and will play a key role in the company's success.

Audi India pleases its buyers with wide range of products in SUV car segment and sedans they are Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi TT and Audi R8 available in many cities of India. Audi has plans to expand fast in the world market and by 2015, the company wishes to add 42 new cars in its profile. The Audi AG, is also fulfilling its social commitment, by establishing Audi Environmental Foundation.
