While the list mainly includes convenience features, there is a safety feature that could be a major consideration for buyers

2025 Tata Altroz facelift features over Maruti Baleno

The 2025 Tata Altroz facelift marks a notable mid-cycle update for the premium hatchback, bringing in a refreshed design and several new features since its debut in 2020. Compared to its key rival, the Maruti Baleno, the updated Tata hatchback gets 7 features that make it seem like a better-equipped option on paper. Here’s the list of these features:

    Bigger Infotainment System

The Altroz facelift comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In comparison, the Maruti Baleno gets a smaller 9-inch unit with the same wireless connectivity. Do note that  in the facelifted Altroz, the 10.25-inch screen is offered from the mid-spec Creative variant, while the lower variants get a smaller 7-inch unit.

    Digital Driver’s Display

Another update with the Altroz facelift is its fully digital 10.25-inch driver’s display, which not only shows trip data but also provides navigation directions. In comparison, the Baleno comes with an instrument cluster with analog dials and a coloured multi-information display (MID).

    Sunroof

From the one-above-base Pure variant onwards, the 2025 Altroz can be configured with a single-pane sunroof. In comparison, the Maruti Baleno does not offer a sunroof in any of its variants. The sunroof in the Altroz also supports voice assist function, allowing you to open and close it using your voice.

    Wireless Phone Charger

The 2025 Altroz also offers a wireless phone charger in its higher-spec variants for front-row passengers, which is not offered in the Maruti Baleno. However, the Baleno does include fast-charging Type-A and Type-C USB ports for both front and rear seat passengers like the Altroz facelift.

    Ambient Lighting

The 2025 Altroz facelift also comes with ambient lighting. While it may not be a major addition for most buyers, it does help enhance the overall look and feel of the Altroz's interior. The Baleno, on the other hand, is equipped with footwell lighting for the front passengers.

    Air Purifier

With the 2025 Altroz, you also get an air purifier in the cabin, which the Baleno does not offer. An air purifier has become an essential feature, especially for those living in cities with poor air quality as it helps improve the air inside your car’s cabin.

    Six Airbags (As Standard)
