What to Expect
- Earlier this year, Thar facelift was first spotted with subtle exterior changes. Expected changes can be new bumper, maybe plastic-metal ones while the rear canopy will now have a subtle kink
- Although, the spotted Thar is featuring the same set of taillamps, but subtle changes to the head and taillights can be expected along with the front fascia

- As per the spied images, you’ll see change in the cabin aesthetics, Mahindra has finally ditched previous Bolero borrowed dashboard
- The new dashboard as seen on the spied vehicle features dual-tone black-beige finish with chrome highlights

- The dashboard seems to have taken inspiration from the Jeep Wrangler’s cabin. Evidently visible are the placement of AC louvers, HVAC controls and central console design
- Apart from these, there’s a new three-pot instrumentation cluster and new Bolero derived steering wheel

Mechanically, the SUV is expected to remain unaltered, 2015 Thar will carry forward the current engine options, that is, 2.5-liter CRDe and 2.6-liter DI. The possibilities of the 2.2-liter mHwak which is powering the Scorpio and XUV5OO are very low.
