Volvo XC60 to be launched in November
Volvo Auto India, confirmed that it will launch an all new Volvo XC60, the premium sports utility vehicle (SUV) in the last week of November. Volvo the auto manufacturing company has been making one of the most safest and technologically advanced automobiles for 80 years and has been coming with various quality cars and heavy locomotives.

The new SUV Volvo XC60 will be another example of engineer's craftsmanship which will be powered with various features, updated technology and luxury at par. The luxury SUV will mark a new standard in the car market. The Volvo XC60 will be based on Scandinavian design which is made for low cost mass production, simple designs and functionality.
Paul de Voijs, the Managing Director of Volvo Auto India, stated with joy, that, the new SUV Volvo XC60 has been receiving world acclaim for its latest designs and style, new age technology and an unmatchable driving experience. The new SUV from the Sweden automobile company will cement its position in the Indian car market. Currently In India, Volvo Auto has two premium car models, the super luxury sedan Volvo S80 and savvy SUV Volvo XC90.
Volvo S80, the luxury sedan comes with numerous features which is an example of sophisticated technology the company uses. The luxury car comes in three variants with a price tag of Rs 38,00,000 to Rs 40,10,000. The base model has 3.2 litre, 6 cylinders petrol engine comes with four wheel drive (FWD) which generates a power of 238 Ps at 6200 rpm, producing a torque of 320 Nm at 3200 rpm. The car is loaded with features such as traction control system, all wheel brakes, collision warning system which combines pre braking technology, air bags in front, dual chamber bags on the sides. One of the noted safety feature in the luxury sedan is the headlamps (active Xenon) which are especially designed to change with the road curve. In an optional system, the car also gives the information about its blind spot. Volvo S80 is loaded with a lot of other features which not only adds to its technological excellence but also too luxury and comfort.
Volvo XC90 the power vehicle comes in three variants 3.2 AWD, V8 AWD and D5 AWD. The 3.2 AWD is 3192cc petrol engine loaded with 6 cylinders combined with DOHC valve which increases its the fuel efficiency. The V8 AWD petrol engine having a capacity of 4414cc with 8 cylinders includes Variable Valve timing and Variable intake technique which helps in better torque and clear emission. The D5 AWD, has V5 turbo charged diesel engine diesel loaded with 2400cc is powered with CRDI (Common Rail Direct Injection) which helps in excellent performance. The luxury car is priced between Rs 45,00,000 to Rs 52,00,000.
