Volvo S80, V70 and XC70 uploaded with better entertainment and safety features
The luxury inventor, Volvo is known to give its users surprises in terms of safety and entertainment. Now following the same mantra, Volvo has upgraded its models, Volvo V70, Volvo XC70 and Volvo S80 with many exciting features which has improved their entertainment and safety quotient.
As per the company’s statement, the cars are loaded with features which are very much end user oriented and will satisfy some of the basic needs of its occupants. The users from high society are targeted behind the updating of these car models. Among the added features comes the Volvo Sensus infotainment system which is made much user friendly. Along with that are other exciting features like the enhanced technology which will make the drive more smooth and safe. The new technology also am at better fuel efficiency of the car models.
As per the statement made by Volvo Cars' President and CEO Stefan Jacoby, the car models which are upgraded by the company will determine the company’s initiative in considering the users needs from the car. He said that the company’s major concern is to facilitate its users with exactly what they expect from their cars.
The all new infotainment system was used for the first time in Volvo S60 and Volvo V60 in the year 2010. And now the technology is also embedded in the Volvo XC60, Volvo V70, Volvo XC70 and Volvo S80. In Sensus, the entire information is placed on a five-inch or seven-inch color screen mounted on the upper part of the Centre stack. With this the driver can have multiple controls on Collision Warning, City Safety, Driver Alert System, Pedestrian Detection, Active Cruise Control, climate unit, lighting, door mirrors, central locking and audio system.
