Ford Endeavour Top-end Model Spied [Detailed Pictures Inside]
The upcoming Ford Endeavour has been spied. The car features a 3.2-liter diesel engine, which is Ford’s first ever 5 cylinder unit and comes mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Ford Endeavour will come with two engine options, both of which will feature variable geometry turbochargers and will be available in both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations.
The upcoming generation change of Ford Endeavour has been spied. The car features a 3.2-liter diesel engine, which is Ford’s first ever 5 cylinder unit and comes mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. We earlier reported about the AWD variant of this premium SUV making rounds in Tamil Nadu. Ford Endeavour will come with two engine options, both of which will feature variable geometry turbochargers and will be available in both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations. The powerplants will also come with an option of either a manual or an automatic transmission. The next generation Ford Ecosport was spied inside a service station. The spied premium SUV comes with an all wheel drive configuration and is in all probability, a top-of-the-range specimen.
On the exterior, the car features a sunroof, roof rails, alloy wheels and ORVMs that come with integrated indicators. The interiors get a plush treatments as well and feature a touchscreen infotainment system, multifunction steering wheel, dual tone dashboard with brushed aluminium inserts, leather upholstery and a leather wrapped steering wheel. One can also spot the automatic transmission lever, which has conveniently been placed next to the rotary control knob that assists the driver in selecting terrain response configuration.
In terms of its powerplants, the Ford Endeavour will also feature a 2.2 liter diesel engine, which will deliver 158bhp of power output and 385Nm of torque. The 3.2 liter 5 cylinder diesel TDCI variant (the one that has been spied) produces 197bhp and 470Nm of torque. The 2.2 liter engine comes with a 6-speed manual transmission and an option for AT. When launched the premium SUV will rival the likes of Hyundai Santa Fe, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and SsangYong Rexton.
