Abarth Powered Avventura Spied
Spyshots of the Abarth Avventura have been leaked online. The car flaunts a badge that says, “Powered by Abarth” and treads on 16 inch scorpion pincer alloy wheels.
It seems that the 'Abarth' rumor mill want to be in the active motion, at least depicted from the recent spyshots. Adding to the flurry of spypics, Fiat Moto Club has snapped another upcoming Abarth product. The spyshots include pictures of the 16-inch scorpion-pincer alloys and that of the car's keyfob. The images clearly indicates that the car is 'Abarth Avventura' and just like Abarth Punto, it will also feature disc brakes on all four wheels.
The car will feature a 1.4-liter T-Jet engine, which will be tweaked to produce 145bhp of power and 212Nm of torque. The vehicle will follow the release of upcoming Abarth Punto Evo, which will be launched on 19th October. Abarth Avventura will find its foundations in the Abarth Punto Evo and will therefore feature the same powerplant, which will come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Abarth Avventura is expected to deliver a fuel efficiency of 17.1 kmpl and will be capable of accelerating from 0-100kmph in under 9.9 seconds, making it only 1.1 second slower, as compared to Abarth Punto. The car will be available in two color schemes, viz. Red and White. The fuel efficiency stats of the car still remain unconfirmed, considering the fact that Abarth Avventura is a crossover version of the Abarth Punto Evo and will be considerably heavier than the hot-hatch, while featuring the same power-plant.
Abarth Avventura will not feature racing stripes or sporty decals seen on the Abarth Punto and the interior and exterior changes will be quite inconspicuous, in comparison to the hot-hatch.
