Saina Nehwal - Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+
In the list of celebrities that have bought new cars in the past month, Saina Nehwal is the only athlete. The Indian badminton player has recently purchased a Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ SUV. This Mercedes SUV comes with a 3-litre inline-six turbo-petrol engine that makes 435 PS and 520 Nm in an all-wheel-drive setup and is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ is priced at Rs 1.71 crore (ex-showroom).
Anil Kapoor - Mercedes-Benz Maybach S 580
During this Diwali, actor Anil Kapoor also made a purchase of a luxury German vehicle. The bollywood star bought a Mercedes-Benz Maybach S 580 luxury sedan, which comes with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, that makes 503 PS and 700 Nm. This unit is paired with a 48 volt mild-hybrid setup, which gives it a boost of 20 PS, and it is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is priced between Rs 2.69 crore to Rs 3.40 crore (ex-showroom).

This unit churns out 639 PS and 565 Nm, and is priced at Rs 4.04 crore (ex-showroom).
Anubhav Singh Bassi - Land Rover Range Rover Sport
Standup comedian, Anubhav Singh Bassi, who recently starred in a movie alongside Shraddha Kapoor, also purchased a car this festive season. Bassi picked up a black Range Rover Sport which comes with a 3-litre 6-cylinder mild-hybrid diesel engine, which makes 345 PS and 700 Nm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, in an all-wheel-drive system. The Land Rover Range Rover Sport is priced from Rs 1.64 crore to Rs 1.84 crore (ex-showroom).
