    Maruti Suzuki History

Maruti Suzuki began its Indian operations back in 1981. Known as Maruti Udyog Limited back in the day, a joint venture was formed between Japan’s Suzuki Motor Corporation and the Government of India to develop the brand we know today. Maruti mainly began its operations in India to provide vehicles for the masses (Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh), but the carmaker has been steadily expanding its presence into the more expensive premium vehicles market (Rs 11 lakh to Rs 30 lakh). Biggest competitors to Maruti Suzuki are Hyundai, Tata Motors and Mahindra.

Maruti Suzuki Cars: Identity & Tag Line

Maruti Suzuki cars have two tag lines because they are sold via two retail outlets: Arena and Nexa. As a whole company, the brand’s tagline is “Way Of Life”. But their Nexa models also get another identity, which is “Create.Inspire”. Maruti cars are predominantly known for making mainstream offerings and their lineup majorly consists of hatchbacks such as the Maruti Alto K10, Maruti Wagon R, and Maruti Swift. However, it has expanded its lineup vastly, which also includes SUVs and MPVs.

Who Should Buy Maruti Suzuki Cars?

Very value for money in all respects. Then you have flexibility to invite 4 more people for travelling along. This is my second ertiga after selling 2012 vdi. Only negative is the image of a taxi, which doesn't matter to me, i had great experience.
