    WABCO to sponsor Tata's T1 Prima Truck Racing

    WABCO, a global technology leader and tier-one supplier of safety and efficiency systems to the commercial vehicle industry, today announced its participation in the country’s first ever T1 PRIMA Truck Racing Championship as the official Braking Technology Partner. Tata Motors will host this inaugural racing event on March 23, 2014 at the acclaimed Buddh International Formula 1 Circuit in Greater Noida.

    Overall, six truck racing teams will compete in the T1 PRIMA Truck Racing Championship showcasing twelve of Tata Motors’ premier PRIMA Model 4038.S trucks. WABCO will provide all competing trucks with a range of innovative products drawn from its portfolio of industry-leading safety and efficiency technologies. Each truck will be equipped with a fully integrated compressed air system that includes WABCO’s high-performance Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) alongside high-output compressor technology, advanced air processing systems and braking components.
