Toyota Tsusho will build this unique concept processing plant with a view to save mineral availability from 2012. The plant will be established in Orissa.

Form this rear-earth processing plant, the company intends to avail 3,000-4,000 tonnes of rare minerals in a period of one year. These real-earth minerals will be used in manufacturing electric and hybrid cars. The minerals will also be used in producing high end technologies for building up fuel efficient cars. The plant construction is planned to start from next year and the minerals will be sent to Japan from the starting of 2012.

In Japan, the car manufacturers are facing huge crisis of metal supplies and the major reason is halt on imports from China based producers owing to unfavourable political conditions. The rear-earth plant to be built in India, will be indulged in getting Thorium and uranium from a mineral named monazite. The process will be held at a subsidiary of India's energy agency named Indian Rare Earth Ltd. The technical help for the process will be received from Japan based Shin-Etsu Chemical Company.

Toyota Tsusho also has plans to build a similar concept plant in Vietnam as well and the location is chosen after thorough field survey by company officials. The combined potential of these two companies will yield approximately 10,000 tonnes rare minerals for year 2013.

The Japanese car manufacturer Toyota is performing very good in Indian market and has recently launched as amazing model named Toyota Etios saloon and has also announced its hatchback version named Toyota Etios Liva. The launch has been a big success by the company as it has attracted a great positive response from market. Toyota Etios Liva will get its official launch in the month of April 2011.
