The most authentic car manufacturing company Maruti has announced to decrease the length of the upcoming models of Maruti Swift Dzire, it will now be four meters long. This change will also reduce the price as compared to earlier models of Maruti Swift Dzire. At present following models of Maruti Swift Dzire are available in market Maruti Swift Dzire LXI, this model is upgraded with petrol engine and features electronic power steering, air conditioner, body colored bumpers, internally adjusted ORVMs, green tinted glass windows, roof antenna, digital trip meter, etc.

Maruti Swift Dzire VXI; this is the modified version of LXI with BSIV emission norms featuring front power windows, rear power windows, integrated audio system with speakers, tachometer, and driver seatbelt warning ajar, rear fog lamps, keyless entry, etc. Maruti Swift Dzire LDI; this is diesel variant of Dzire with upgraded emission norms owing the features like air conditioner, electric power steering, roof antenna, digital trip meter, illumination control, body colored bumpers, internally adjusted ORVMs, etc.

Maruti Swift Dzire is 4160 mm long, for which company has to pay the excise duty of 22%. Whereas according to the company sources, by decreasing the length of Maruti Swift Dzire by 4 meters the excise duty will be reduced by 11 percent thus making the cost of upcoming Maruti Swift Dzire model Rs. 40,000/- lesser than the existing model. In this way by shortening the length of the new Maruti Swift Dzire 2011, the company will be able to reduce the production cost.

However by shortening the length of Maruti Swift Dzire the huge boot space will be shortened. Whereas spacious boot space and attractive interiors were considered as the major variants responsible for the continuous increasing demand of Maruti Swift Dzire. There no stock of swift dzire . I don't want the model to be changed . Its already a very good looking one. Request the company to supply the present one as quickly as possible.
Please let me know when this angel is expected to enter the market as I am eagerly waiting to acquire one. I hope the new version will have the wood finish dash board panels and side panels where the controls are located. This will add more elegance to the car.
