Tata Aria in 30 days?

There is news coming in from the Tata stable that the much awaited crossover Tata Aria would be launched within a month. Tata Aria had been sent to Jaguar and Land Rover plant in UK for an interiors makeover. It is likely that the Tata Aria would be launched in the country with a price tag of about Rs 10 lakh. The car was first unveiled at the 2010 Auto Expo in New Delhi and it is a four-wheel drive by Tata. The successful and much appreciated Tata Safari engine is the one that would power the all new Tata Aria.

The Tata Aria would come loaded with a 2.2L, 2179cc, 4-cylinder DICOR engine. The 2.2L DICOR engine in the Tata Aria offers a maximum power of 140 bhp at 4,000 rpm and develops a peak torque of 320Nm at 1,700 to 2,700 rpm. The engine is similar to that of Safari but its refinement is very obvious to be able to suit Tata Aria better. Things like optimized rubber mounts, aluminum cast sump, better acoustic package with a dual mass flywheel which plays the main role to reduce unwanted vibrations and enhances the overall engine performance are all present in the Tata Aria.

But it is the design, interiors and features of Tata Aria that set it apart in its class. The all new Aria is being hailed as the most sophisticated Tata till dated. The Tata Aria would have three rows of seating arrangements to accommodate 7 passengers. The second and third row seats can be folded fully flat to create more luggage space and there is good air conditioning for all three rows. The car has leather covered steering wheel, gear shift knob and leather seats, headrest mounted LCD screen, power and tilt steering, power windows at all four doors, automatic climate control AC, keyless entry, advanced CD/MP3 audio system, cup holders on floor console, cigarette lighter and ash-tray in front console, rear wash and wiper, electrical glass demister, digital outside temperature indicator, etc. These are some of the high end features found only in very expensive and top end SUVs. The Tata Aria would also have high-tech multimedia features like the advanced CD player, USB/Bluetooth connectivity, 3D sound etc.

key- less entry is vulnerable to malfunction . Indian climatic conditions do not allow remote controlled lock systems to last long . Hope ARIA can defeat this problem . For the other features I would love to be the first buyer less the keyless entry. I am too proud of TATA MOTORS . KEEP IT UP.
