Skoda To Start Kushaq Deliveries From July 12
The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol variants will start rolling out from the first week of August

Skoda has finally entered the compact SUV segment with the made-in-India Kushaq, priced from Rs 10.49 lakh to Rs 17.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Deliveries will commence from July 12, but only for select variants.
Skoda will begin deliveries of the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol variant from July 12, followed by the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol from the first week of August. Initially, buyers will be told the exact date when they will get the delivery. Bookings are currently underway for a token amount of Rs 25,000.
The manufacturer has further revealed that it is expecting the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol variants to account for the majority of the sales. Skoda estimates a monthly sale of 4,000 units.
The Kushaq is available in three trims: Active, Ambition, and Style. It gets 115PS 1.0-litre and 150PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines, the latter limited to the top-spec Style variant. While a 6-speed manual transmission is standard, the 1.0-litre unit gets an optional 6-speed torque converter automatic and the 1.5-litre gets a 7-speed DSG (dual-clutch automatic).
The compact SUV features ventilated front seats, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car technology, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a sunroof, ambient lighting, and cruise control. Passenger safety is covered by up to six airbags, a rear parking camera, multi-collision braking, tyre pressure monitoring, and electronic stability control (standard).
