Rolls-Royce Wraith gets Inspired by Fashion
As fitting as it does get, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has taken wraps off its most exquisitely crafted ‘Wraith – Inspired by Fashion’. Already a thing of timeless beauty, this Wraith is designed with the most exquisite and desirable materials you could imagine. Further working upon the aesthetic beauty of the car, designers took inspiration from different colour palettes, materials and techniques used in the world of high fashion.
The two-tone exterior colour scheme of Andalucian White and Arctic White has a neutral setting for a choice of accent colours. The signature shoulder-line gets accentuated by a new hand-applied feature-line in the selected highlight colour hinting towards the interior of the Wraith. Just like finest clothing, the beauty lines in the extreme attention to detail paid on this vehicle.
The Wraith’s coach-doors open to the car’s classic Arctic White and Black interior colour scheme, with embroidered headrests, seat stitching and piping, and the accent colour creates a classy new application through a 2-tone steering wheel. A smooth seamless stitch has been applied to the wheel by the craftspeople in the Leather Shop at the Home of Rolls-Royce.
The result is an extraordinary interpretation of Wraith’s characteristic blend of power, style and drama. Giles Taylor, Director of Design for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, commented, “This iteration of Wraith provides a canvas for materials and finishes most commonly associated with the world of fashion. Inspiration was sourced from international catwalks and Bespoke Tailors, resulting in an aesthetically stunning and sartorially on-point motor car.”
