Renault Triber Prices Hiked. Continues To Start At Rs 4.95 Lakh
The Triber still gets the same features, BS4 petrol unit as well as the same transmission setup. So what could be the reason for the price hike?

The Triber is now priced between Rs 4.95 lakh and Rs 6.63 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

All variants except for the base-spec RXE get a uniform price hike of Rs 10,000.

The Triber is expected to come with an AMT option along with a BS6 engine in early 2020.
Renault India has once again hiked the prices of its first sub-4m crossover MPV, the Triber. While the French carmaker has increased the prices uniformly by Rs 10,000 on the RXL, RXT, and RXZ trims, the RXE (base trim) continues to carry the same starting price of Rs 4.95 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Just a little over a month ago, Renault had hiked the prices of the top-spec RXZ trim by Rs 4,000 as it got an upgrade in terms of its tyre size. Other than this, all the other features and mechanicals remain unchanged. It still comes with the BS4-compliant 1.0-litre petrol engine that is good for 72PS and 96Nm of power and torque respectively. While Renault is offering the Triber with only a 5-speed manual, an AMT option is expected soon.

The prices are expected to increase further from January 2020 as the Triber will get a BS6-compliant engine as well as the usual price hike for the new year. We expect prices to shoot up by around Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000.
