  • The Renault Triber will be positioned between the Kwid and Duster.

  • It is expected to be priced between Rs 5 lakh to Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom).

  • The Triber will be offered with a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder BS4-compliant petrol engine.

  • Renault will offer the Triber with a 5-speed manual gearbox as well as an AMT option.

  • The Triber will rival the Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Grand i10 and Ford Figo, among others.

  • The booking amount has been set at Rs 11,000; it can be booked via Renault’s dealership or website.

Update: Renault has launched the Triber with prices of the crossover MPV starting at Rs 4.95 lakh. For now, the Triber only gets a manual transmission and an AMT gearbox will be introduced at a later stage. Read more about it here.

The Renault Triber is scheduled to launch on August 28 and bookings of the compact crossover MPV are already underway for a token amount of Rs 11,000. You can reserve yours through Renault dealerships or the company’s official website. If you are looking to put your money down on the upcoming Renault offering, it’s imperative that you have a better idea about its pricing to make a better buying decision. But before we take a look at the expected prices, let’s go through its features and engine highlights.

It will be available with two transmission choices - a 5-speed manual and an optional AMT. Claimed fuel efficiency figures are 20kmpl (MT) and 20.5kmpl (AMT).

I had test trial of this petrol version with great anxiety, but was highly disappointed with the drive. Being such a version company has not thought of power to product. It's not upto mark. Cannot sustain
