Renault Increases Kiger’s Prices By Up To Rs 13,000
The sub-4m SUV is now priced between Rs 5.64 lakh and Rs 10.09 lakh

Renault has initiated another price hike, albeit applicable only to the Kiger. The sub-4m SUV went on sale in February 2021 and this is its third price hike since launch. Let’s take a look at the revised variant-wise prices:

All variants of the Kiger have become pricier by Rs 13,000 except for the RXT CVT and RXZ CVT trims with the 1-litre turbo-petrol engine. However, Renault’s sub-4m SUV continues to be more affordable than all its rivals save for the Nissan Magnite.

Under the hood, the Kiger comes with two petrol engines: 1-litre naturally aspirated (72PS/96Nm) or 1-litre turbo-petrol unit (100PS/160Nm). The former is mated to either a 5-speed MT or an AMT, while the latter gets a 5-speed MT and an optional 5-speed CVT.
Renault’s sub-4m SUV rivals the Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, and Toyota Urban Cruiser.
