Porsche India inaugurates the eighth dealership in the country at an extremely well-connected location in Bangalore.  The Lavelle road, where the new dealership is opened by this luxury super car manufacturer is one of the most acclaimed locations with some prestigious named brands like Ducati and Harley Davidson dealerships opened on the same street. Though the timelines are not known yet, another Porsche center is expected on the popular Hosur Road to connect with the South Eastern part of the city.

The Bangalore dealership comes after New Delhi, Mumbai in the sequence, though the German car manufacturer has already marked the presence in the cities like Cochin, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai and Chandigarh. A dealership in the Southern City of Kochi is also in the pipe-line. Raghu Nayak of the new Porsche dealership in Bangalore has his fingers crossed hoping the sales to take off in the first two years itself to reach the numbers in few hundreds. The Lavelle Road in Bangalore carries the fame like the New York’s Fifth Avenue where the top brands like Gucci, Versace and Prada have their showrooms featured in the location. Coming back to the Lavelle Road dealership, apparently, three models of Porsche cars will be featured at this prestigious showroom to help the customers along the lines of customisation.

Though the Porsche cars will be imported as CBUs, like with any Porsche car, the customisation is possible to the maximum extent. It is however, the dealerships job to cater to the needs of the customer. So, basically it will take a minimum of three months to see the car delivered to the right owner. Overall, Porsche hopes to touch a 500 unit sales mark for 2011, which is more than twice of what the auto major managed to sell during the last year. For whoever is the culprit, the Porsche cars managed to sell just 134 units during the entire last year.  Porsche Cayenne and Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet are a couple of Porsche India's products offered in the country.
