The all new Honda Civic is being built on the premium current model's signature style one motion, mono form design but with explicit body lines. The cosmetic changes given to the Honda Civic has made it more energetic, bolder, sleek and stylish in appearance. However the focus will be still on the design which has been followed from four decades.

The sources reveal that the new Honda Civic looks like a compact sedan but has been crafted to allow ample of space in the car giving it a more sporty feel and will ensure pleasurable driving experience. New Honda Civic is expected to provide fuel economy.

The new model for Honda Civic is assumed to be offered in three different engines. They are gasoline mill lineup, the Honda Civic powered with natural gas and also the Honda Civic Hybrid which will be affixed with lithium-ion battery technology the first application in Honda's hybrid automobiles.

However, with the normal fuel economy ratings, the other Honda Civic gasoline car models will be affixed with Honda Eco-Assist technology which has proven that it is less efficient and achieves higher fuel economy.

The new Honda Civic is speculated to be launched in the first half of 2012. If the rumours are to be believed the petrol version of the new sedan will hit the Indian shore and later to be followed with the diesel version of the same. It will be endowed as per the Indian norms and standard which will include revised rear suspension and also better, comfortable for rear seat passengers. The new sedan is assumed to be priced around Rs 12 to Rs 16 lakh.
