Now, let us take a look at everything that the M9 has to offer:

    A Minimalist Exterior Design

    MG M9 front design

The MG M9 features a minimalist exterior design with clean lines and simple elements that lend it a modern appearance. At the front, it gets connected LED DRLs and angular projector LED headlights. The grille is blanked off, as is typical of electric vehicles, while the lower portion of the bumper is finished in black and houses functional air dams to help cool the EV’s electrical components.

    MG M9 side profile

In profile, the M9’s most notable element is its electrically sliding doors. These are similar to what you get on the Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire and give the MPV a more premium feel. It rides on 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in self-sealing tyres. Its boxy silhouette is also clearly visible from the side and reinforces its van-like proportions. Plenty of chrome touches gives it much needed bling.

    MG M9 rear design

At the rear, the M9 gets connected LED tail lights that are arranged in an inverted U-shape. The tailgate features the MG logo in the centre and an M9 EV badge placed lower down. A chrome strip on the rear bumper adds some contrast and breaks up the otherwise clean and minimal design.

The M9 e-MPV is available in three exterior hues:

    • Metal Black

    • Pearl White with black roof

    • Concrete Grey with black roof

    Luxurious Interior

Although the exterior is minimalist, the interior design of the MG M9 feels fairly luxurious. It features a dual-tone tan and black cabin theme, with generous use of soft-touch materials on the dashboard, doors and centre console, creating a premium atmosphere.

The dashboard is equipped with a 2-spoke steering wheel, a 12.3-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, and a smaller 7-inch digital driver’s display. A black strip runs across the sleek AC vents, with a silver trim below it that helps add visual contrast and breaks the monotony of the design.

    MG M9 middle-row seats

The seats are upholstered in leatherette, adding to the upmarket feel. As with most luxury MPVs, the M9 offers a three-row seating layout, with the middle row being the highlight of the cabin experience.
