    Mercedes-Benz A-Class Facelift

    Marking the 15th launch for Mercedes-Benz’s 15 launch for 2015 portfolio in India is the A-class facelift, which the German automaker will be launching tomorrow. The luxury hatchback will be launched in Mumbai and will incorporate aesthetic exterior updates. The overall look of the hatchback will be maintained and the aesthetic updates will only be incorporated to feature a refreshed styling. Mercedes-Benz A-Class rivals the likes of BMW 1 Series and the Volvo V40 and to hold its own against the competition, the exterior updates will include a redesigned headlamp cluster, which goes hand-in-hand with the updated, more aggressive front bumper.

    The rear of the car also flaunts the same treatment, as the taillamp cluster has been updated to flaunt a refreshed look. To enhance the sporty appeal of the Mercedes-benz A-Class, the ORVMs have been blacked out and the hatchback treads on brand new 5-spoke alloy wheels. The most prominent interior highlight is the incorporation of an 8.0-inch touch-screen infotainment system. The systems will also comes with Mirrorlink software that integrates your smartphone and will also feature Apple Carplay. Other updates include an updated instrument cluster and additional interior color scheme options. Mechanically, the Mercedes-Benz A-Class is expected to remain unchanged and continue featuring the same 1.6-lier petrol engine and the 2.2-liter diesel engine that find their application in the current model. The power plants come coupled to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
